Most people only think about their NDIS records when a plan reassessment is looming, and then discover how hard it is to piece together a year of spending. Good reporting fixes that. When the information is collected properly from the start, it is ready whenever you need it.

At ABility Centre, reporting is built into everything we do. Every invoice we pay and every balance we track ends up in a clear statement that you, your family and, with your consent, your support team can read and use.

What's in Your Monthly NDIS Statement

Each month you receive a statement that sets out your plan's position in a simple format. It includes:

  • How much has been spent in each support category during the month
  • Your remaining balance in each category
  • A list of the providers paid and what each payment was for
  • Where you are in your current funding period, if your plan uses them
  • Any spending patterns we think you should know about

Why Good NDIS Records Matter

Your records tell the story of how your plan has been used. They show which supports you rely on most, which ones made a difference and where your funding fell short. That story is valuable when your plan is reviewed, because it gives you evidence rather than guesswork.

Records also protect you. If a provider queries a payment or a charge looks unfamiliar, a complete history means the question can be answered quickly and clearly.

Using Your Reports at Plan Reassessment

Before your plan is reassessed, we can prepare a summary of your spending across the whole plan. It highlights the categories you used fully, any you underused and any where you ran short. Many participants find this summary makes their reassessment meeting far less stressful.

Taking that summary along helps you explain what has worked and what you need going forward. It pairs well with any reports from your therapists or support coordinator.

Sharing Reports With Your Support Team

Your information is private, and we only share it with the people you choose. If you would like your statement sent to a parent, partner, carer or support coordinator as well as yourself, simply let us know in writing. You can change or withdraw that permission at any time.

Families who manage a plan on behalf of a loved one often ask for copies so everyone involved stays on the same page.

Reading Your Statement in Two Minutes

Start with the summary at the top, which shows your remaining balance in each category. Then look at the list of payments for the month and check that each one matches a support you actually received. Finally, read any notes we have added. That is where we point out anything that needs your attention.

If anything looks unfamiliar, call or email us. Questions about statements are some of the most useful conversations we have, because they often catch problems early.

The Records We Keep for You

Behind every statement sits a complete record of your plan. We keep:

  • A copy of every invoice and receipt we process
  • Details of every claim made to the NDIS and every payment received
  • A record of each payment made to your providers or to you
  • Notes from conversations about your plan and spending

Reporting When Your Circumstances Change

Life does not stand still between plans. You might move house, start a new job, have a change in your health or welcome a new support worker. When that happens, your spending pattern often changes too.

Our statements make those changes easy to see. If a new support is costing more than expected, or an old one has stopped, the numbers show it straight away. That gives you and your support team the information you need to decide whether to adjust supports or talk to the NDIA about your plan.

Reporting for Participants Across Adelaide

Our reporting is the same high standard whether you live next to our office or across the state. If you are looking for clear NDIS reporting in Gilles Plains, where our team is based, or you are a family in Walkerville who likes detailed records, we are here to help. Participants in Enfield who juggle several providers find our statements especially useful.

Your statement draws directly on our NDIS budget tracking, so the numbers are always current.
